We have about 45 sani bins (one in every female toilet) and 2 nappy bins emptied twice a week by the same lady for over 20 years (her own business).

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people.... I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort it self out.

We've 26 sanitary bins and they're supposed to be emptied monthly or whenever cannon hygiene can be bothered to come and collect them. We only stick with them because they're the cheapest on the ESPO framework!

We have 20 sani-bins exchanged monthly by Cannon Hygiene, I get all the complaints from staff that they smell and that people don’t open the lid and dispose of their items correctly?

I’m well used to nasty niffs so I’m probably immune to it but to me they don’t smell unless the lid is wedged open by used sanitary items, it must be every other day I get some complaint or other about them.

Its mostly user error that causes the problems here especially when soiled nappies are wedged into them???...

No they are not! Try Initial who now have the ESPO contract. Cannon lost it years ago, I had nothing but problems with them, complained to the countless times. Threatened to cancel contract, got 6 months free and another 6 months at reduced rate and great service for those 12 months. Then cancelled and went to initial. 36 bins, 1 nappy bin monthly. Logo mats cleaned weekly other barrier matting done fortnightly all done through their ESPO contract at that rate. They were definitely the cheapest quote and have a cracking regular chap who turns up to do the job.

We have 7 sani bins emptied every 4 weeks.
I nappy container outside in bin store, 3 nappy bins inside that are emptied into big bin as necessary, this is emptied weekly.
We used to use:
PHS got rid...they were useless, coming only if and when they felt like it.
Changed to Canon....no better.
Now use Initial...had our issues but know have the same chap every time and working fine.
